TREASURES OF LOUIS COMFORT TIFFANY
Treasures of Louis Comfort Tiffany traces the creative life of the artist. Making advances in stained glass, pottery and other media, L.C. Tiffany was a true American master. On exhibit are paintings in oils, pastels and watercolors that showcase his early life and travels. Later works include housewares and decorative arts, mosaics and windows.
MUSEUM CAFE GALLERY
Works by Thomas Mueller Dietrich (1912-1998), an American Regionalist from Appleton, Wisconsin, depict life in the midwest through the 20th Century. Farm life, small towns, and the common man are consistent themes. Bold colors and wide brush strokes give Dietrich’s work a modern graphic style while bringing everyday life into detail.
