Desription

Brass case contains pineapple finials on top corners and is surmounted by a flowering urn decorated with paste-set and enameled flowers. The silvered front panel is decorated with filigree, enamel flowers, and gilt-metal animals.

This clock strikes the quarter hours on a nest of eight bells and strikes the hours on a separate bell. The double train fusee movement has a duplex escapement, popular in Chinese clocks.
