Tours
All tours are currently suspended as the museum undergoes installation and expansion. Read below for general tour information.
With paid admission, join us daily for free Highlight Tours of the stained glass and clock galleries. Tours leave daily from the lobby at 1PM Tuesday through Sunday. Tours last approximately one hour in duration.
Please Note: Tour availability is subject to change in case of pre-scheduled events or private tours. To ensure we have a tour on the day you’d like to visit, please call and confirm with Guest Services at (224) 714-5600.

Photography Policy
We welcome photography within the museum for personal, non-commercial use only. Cell phone photography is encouraged, but please turn off the flash. We hope you share, tweet, and post your images on social media. And, don't forget to tag us: @halimmuseum.
The following rules apply:

Flash photography, cameras with a detachable lens, video cameras, and tripods are not permitted.

Parking
Free visitor parking, the designated Visitor Parking area, is available in the King Home (1555 Oak Avenue.) It is directly across the street from the museum.
Turn into the alley just north of the building.
Accessibility

Accessible parking is available in the rear of the building. This small parking lot is accessed via the alley between Oak Avenue and Ridge Avenue.

An access ramp is located at the rear of the building. Follow the posted signs if entering from Oak Avenue.

Elevator access is available to all levels of the museum.

Accessible restroom facilities are located on the lower level.

A wheelchair is available for loan. Please inquire at our reception desk on the first floor.
