Sharp Gothic double steeple shelf clock with mahogany veneer. Brass strip frame movement with anchor escapement driven by the wagon spring mounted below. Label inside case reads, J. Ives Patent, accelerating equalizing lever spring eight day brass clocks, secured February 24th, 1845, Made and for sale Wholesale and retail by Birge & Fuller, Bristol Conn., warranted if well used.
