Elephant Figural Mantel Clock

The drum case is surmounted by foliage and a seated putto, above an elephant on a naturalistic base, the white enamel dial signed Charles Le Roy/ a Paris. The patinated elephant with its up-turned trunk is of exceptional quality, revealing Saint-Germain’s passion and understanding of the natural world.
