Industrial Clock in the Form of a Fire Engine

An extraordinary example of a French industrial clock. This realistic rendition is brass with silvered and black accents. The striking red base, wheels and hose carrier make this clock very rare. The clock mechanism is displayed on the water tank, with an aneroid barometer at the front of the fire engine. A plaque attached to a brass block on the inner side of the water tank reads, D - H Dupose.
