Month-Duration Longcase Clock

This excellent clock by this esteemed maker has a label inside of door for the Wetherfield Collection of Clocks. The clock is featured in the book, The Wetherfield Collection by E. Bruton, London, 1981. The clock appears on page 204 as fig. 178. The dial has a subsidiary seconds ring and a date aperture and is signed on a reserve cartouche, Dan Delander/LONDON. The arch contains a regulation ring flanked by spandrels modeled as Cupid astride an eagle. Long duration attests to the excellent design and construction of this clock.
