Watch for King Fuad I of Egypt

Desription

This is a fine and rare yellow gold and enamel open-faced keyless watch made for King Fuad I of Egypt, numbered 430, verified by the House of Breguet as purchased by the King in 1925. This excellent watch contains a jeweled gilt lever movement and bi-metallic compensation balance. Movement, dial, and gold cuvette are signed Breguet, No. 430. The lovely silvered dial has a guilloché center and subsidiary seconds dial. The back of the polished case is centered with a polychrome enamel of the coat of arms of King Fuad I. The presentation case has the crown of King Fuad embossed on the cover.
